Despite a threat of rain at the start, by the time we finished our picnic lunch around the warm fire at the pavilion, the skys cleared up for a nice dry and beautiful hike at as we hunted for the rare dwarf trout lily for which this park is famous. We did find some dwarf trout lily, and we also saw and heard a barred owl! Check out the photo gallery for more pictures.
